Description	:	DARLINGTON -- Mrs. Martha Wilson Garris, 58, of Darlington, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002 in a local hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2002 at 4 PM in the Dovesville Church of God. Burial will follow in the Dovesville Church of God Cemetery directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Mrs. Garris was born in Darlington County and was the daughter of the late Lee and Mildred O'Neal Wilson. She was a homemaker, as well as working with her husband at their store, Garris Mini-Mart. Read More	DARLINGTON -- Mrs. Martha Wilson Garris, 58, of Darlington, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002 in a local hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2002 at 4 PM in the Dovesville Church of God. Burial will follow in the Dovesville Church of God Cemetery directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Mrs. Garris was born in Darlington County and was the daughter of the late Lee and Mildred O'Neal Wilson. She was a homemaker, as well as working with her husband at their store, Garris Mini-Mart. Mrs. Garris was a member of the Dovesville Church of God. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking. Mrs. Garris was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Tabitha Kimrey, in 1999. Survivors include her husband, Robert J. "Bobby" Garris, of the home; one son, Michael Meggs, of Martinez, GA; two daughters, Carol (Tommy) Smith of Darlington and Karen (Terry) Jefferies of Lincolnton, GA; two step-daughters, Melissa "Lisa" Garris and Sonya Garris Gandy, both of Darlington; two sisters, Jeanette Yow and Percy Grantham, both of Darlington; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, two special nieces and a special nephew. The family will receive friends at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23, 2002 from 7-9 PM. Memorials may be made to the Dovesville Church of God, 3717 N.
