Duane Tinklenberg officiating. Burial was in Middleburg Cemetery. Brinks was born October 15, 1896 in Riverside, Michigan, and lived his youth in McBain, Michigan, where he attended school. Brinks was born October 15, 1896 in Riverside, Michigan, and lived his youth in McBain, Michigan, where he attended school. He moved to Boyden at the age of 18. For the last six months, he lived at Pleasant Acres at Hull. He was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and the Western Christian school board. He was a consistory member of Middleburg Christian Reformed Church for many years. Survivors include a son, Henry of Hull; a daughter, Harriet Vander Stoep of Orange City; a brother, Gerrit of Sioux Center; two sisters, Anna Cuperus of Hull and Maggie Bosman of Sheldon; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
