DIRKS Funeral services for Martin Eilert Dirks, 54, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Q. Johnson, Lutheran institutional chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in the Ireton, Iowa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Dupic, James Carberg, Ray Titus, Clarence Hanson, Larry Reich and Gary Hookman. Mr. Dirks died Wednesday at University Hospital in Iowa City.
