Early Mass will be held in the Catholic Church at Elk Garden on Thursday morning by Rev. Father Jan and the interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport. The pallbearers are Michael Conlon, John Fahey, John Kenny Sr., John Kenny Jr. and Felix Cannnos. He is survived by his wife and the following children, Mrs. P. F.... Mr. Mullen came from County Clare, Ireland, to Piedmont and later came to Elk Garden about the time the mines were opened here. He was well known in this community and always had a cheerful word for everybody. Although he could not read, he eagerly caught the news as others were reading the papers, and thus kept posted in the world's events."
