Description	:	Boone News Republican August 14, 1959 MARTIN T. KAMMIN Funeral services for Martin Theodore Kammin were held at the Schroeder Funeral Home, July 31, 1959 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Zeigel of Des Moines officiating. Pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased. On the flower committee were Mrs. Anna Hora and Mrs. Fannie Peacock. Burial was at the Linwood Park Cemetery. Martin Theodore Kammin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kammin, was born in Mackey, Iowa, March 17, 1883 and died at Boone, Iowa, July 28, 1959 at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 11 days. He was united in marriage to Louise H. Behrens, Oct. 1, 1928, at Omaha, Neb. Mr. Kammin was a retired Chicago and Northwestern Railroad boilermaker's helper. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone, having transferred here fro St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mackey. Survivors include his wife, Louise, of Boone; a step-daughter, Mrs. G.K. Lind of Des Moines; two step-grandsons; six step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chris and August Kammin of Boone; and four sisters; Mrs. Henry Ahrens and Mrs. Otto Ehrick, both of Minnesota; Mrs. Peter Nieman of Illinois and Mrs. Henry Hagge of Perry, Iowa.
