Description	:	Martine Jensen, daughter of Niels and Kirstine Jensen was born in Denmark October 1, 1861. She came to America January 1891 and June 4, 1892 was married to Jacob Keldgord. Five children were born to this marriage, one died at birth and a daughter, Olga died at the age of seven. A member of the Altamont Baptist church of Cuppy's Grove for many years. Mrs Keldgord had lived in the same farm home in Center township for over 60 years, in the last few years she had been a member of the Calvary Baptist church at Walnut, Iowa. She came to America January 1891 and June 4, 1892 was married to Jacob Keldgord. Five children were born to this marriage, one died at birth and a daughter, Olga died at the age of seven. A member of the Altamont Baptist church of Cuppy's Grove for many years. Mrs Keldgord had lived in the same farm home in Center township for over 60 years, in the last few years she had been a member of the Calvary Baptist church at Walnut, Iowa. She died Wednesday, March 12 at the age of 93 years, five months and 12 days. Surviving are her son, Oscar at home and two daughters, Martha also at home and Mrs Walter Larsen of Graettinge, Iowa also three grandchildren and six great-grandchidren. Her husband passed away February 21, 1917. Funeral services were held at the Pauley funeral home Monday March 14 with Pastor Mel Studi officiating. Pallbearers were Lester Findlay, Walter Findlay, Neil Carmichael, Anton Petersen, Albert Sorensen and Edward Christensen. Burial was in the Cuppy's Grove cemetery.
