She was born Jan. 23, 1945, in Plainview, the daughter of William “Fritz” and Martha (Miller) Lambert. She was baptized in Foster and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah. She graduated from Tekamah High School in 1963. Jan. 26, 1964, she was united in marriage to Allyn Ray Allison at First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah. They are the parents of two daughters, Vicky Lea and Tammy Lea. The family moved to Bemidji, Minn. in 1980, where Mrs. Allison was employed in food service for the Bemidji School District. The couple returned to Tekamah in November of 2000. Preceding her in death were her father; father-in-law, Orville Allison; and brother-in-law, Don Allison. Survivors include her husband and daughter Tammy, both of Tekamah, and dauther Vicky Hegg of Red Wing, Minn.; two grandchildren, Rikki and Rusty Allison; mother of Oakland; brother and sister-in-law, Boyd and Dixie Lambert of Kennard; sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly Knight of Craig and Kay and Ken Elsasser of Oakland; mother-in-law, Trina Allison of Tekamah; nieces and nephews. The Rev. Charity Forbes officiated the rite. Music was provided by organist Leanne Dorathy and vocalist Diane Sheets. Casket bearers were Rex Lambert, Todd Bingham, Brett Elsasser, Derek Elsasser, Jesse Knight and Dan Allison. Honorary casket bearers were Noel Petersen, Dick Sederberg, Karl Adamson, Dick Lowe, Larry Jackson and Scott Larson. Burial was at Tekamah Cemetery. Hamel-Peck-Pelan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
