Description	:	Marvin A. "Bun" Prewett, 74, passed away Nov. 28 at the Pondera Medical Center of cancer. Funeral services were held Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Pondera Funeral Home. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Prewett was born at Hardy, Mont., on Jan. 31, 1917. He was the son of Alfred and Alzora Prewett. He grew up in Simms, Mont., and graduated from Simms High School. He started working for the railroad when he was 18 years old. He and Helen Price were married April 6, 1937. He was the son of Alfred and Alzora Prewett. He grew up in Simms, Mont., and graduated from Simms High School. He started working for the railroad when he was 18 years old. He and Helen Price were married April 6, 1937. He worked as a telegrapher, and during WWII he dispatched out of Great Falls. He moved to Conrad in 1941 as a telegrapher and retired as agent in 1979 after 45 years of employment. He and his wife started "Helen's" clothing store in Conrad in November of 1972. He worked for both Drake's Drug and Olson's Drug as a bookkeeper for 25 years. He enjoyed golf and was a member of Masonic Bodies. Survivors include his wife, Helen, Conrad; one daughter, Mourine Grubb, Conrad; one brother, Tom Prewett, Glasgow; three sisters, Erma Johnson, Cascade; Dorothy Porter, Helena; and Alzora Clark, Mizzoula; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society. Independent-Observer: Dec. 5, 1991
