He married Mildred (Kuhn) Patterson on Oct. 12, 1962, in Victoria. She preceded him in death March 29, 2002. He was a pumper in the oil fields and a farmer for more than 50 years. He was born April 20, 1925, south of Walker. He married Mildred (Kuhn) Patterson on Oct. 12, 1962, in Victoria. She preceded him in death March 29, 2002. He was a pumper in the oil fields and a farmer for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Walker, and Victoria Knights of Columbus. Survivors include several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jill (Ramsey) Patterson; a brother, Winfred Goetz; a sister, Marcella Bealby; and an infant brother, Donald Goetz. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Walker. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671. A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6:30 p.m., both at the mortuary.
