Description	:	QUAKER CITY - Marvin D. Starr, 67, of Quaker City was found dead in his Ohio Highway Department truck about 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 27) near Antrim after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr Starr had just completed fixing a road sign which had blown over in high winds. He had driven a short distance from the scene when he suffered the attack and managed to pull the truck off the highway. Mr. Starr had been employed by the State Highway Department for many years. Starr, 67, of Quaker City was found dead in his Ohio Highway Department truck about 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 27) near Antrim after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr Starr had just completed fixing a road sign which had blown over in high winds. He had driven a short distance from the scene when he suffered the attack and managed to pull the truck off the highway. Mr. Starr had been employed by the State Highway Department for many years. He was born Sept. 1, 1900 in Middlebourne, a son of George and Maude Watson Starr. Mr. Starr was a member of Middlebourne Methodist Church. Mr. Starr was first married to the former Beulah Jane McVicker in 1931 who died in July, 1944. He was married to the former Thelma Henderson Tuttle. Surviving are four sons, Herbert Starr of Quaker City Route 2, Edwin of Quaker City, Richard and Roger Starr, both of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Dave (Judy) Ellison of near Lore City; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Delbert and Charles Starr, both of near Barnesville, Howard and Arthur both of near Salesville, and Jasper of Quaker City; three sisters, Mrs Pearl Thatcher of near Quaker City, Mrs. Ada Denius of near Lore City, and Mrs. Bertha Caldwell of Cambridge. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Eberie Funeral Home in Quaker City with Rev. Milford Carey officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery at Quaker City. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
