Description	:	Page Marvin J. Wiley, 76, of Page, died Friday, Feb. 24. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Page. The Rev. J. Scott Kroener will officiate. Burial will be in Orchard Cemetery. Visitation was to be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Mr. Wiley was born May 24, 1912, at Dorsey, the son of James and Amanda Binkerd Wiley. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving from October 1942 - January 1946. He married Pauline Cleo Schwager on June 30, 1936, at Yankton, S.D. Mr. Wiley was a charter member of the Nebraska State Patrol serving from 1937, when the Patrol was established, until retiring in 1971. He was Captain of Troop C in Grand Island from 1951-1971. After retirement from the Patrol he worked for Hansen Employment Service in Grand Island. In October 1977 they moved to Page. Pall bearers will include members of the State Patrol. Mr. Wiley was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife; two sons; three daughters; a brother; two sisters and eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
