Description	:	Marvin Dodd, 90, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at his home in Miles City. Mr. Dodd was born in Colony, Wyo., on May 5, 1915, the son of Andrew Jackson and Victoria McCumsey Dodd. He was raised and lived in the Alzada vicinity, attending grade school there. He and Alice Johnson of Seely, Wyo., were married on Oct. 12, 1940. They owned and operated a small ranch near Seely. Read More	Marvin Dodd, 90, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at his home in Miles City. Mr. Dodd was born in Colony, Wyo., on May 5, 1915, the son of Andrew Jackson and Victoria McCumsey Dodd. He was raised and lived in the Alzada vicinity, attending grade school there. He and Alice Johnson of Seely, Wyo., were married on Oct. 12, 1940. They owned and operated a small ranch near Seely. The family later moved to Alzada where he held half interest in a bar, café and cabins. Several years later they moved to Miles City where he worked for a beer wholesaler. He bought one-half interest in the Bison Bar, which he ran jointly for 10 years. Mr. Dodd owned and operated a beer wholesale for a number of years. He later worked delivering gas and fuel for John Etchemendy. They built and restored sheep wagons after retiring. Mr. Dodd especially enjoyed fishing with his best friend and brother, Dempsey. His survivors include by his wife, Alice Dodd of Miles City; two sons: Leland (Merna) Dodd of Miles City and Robert (Arlys) Dodd of San Antonia, Texas; a brother, James (Vivian) Dodd of Alzada; three grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Fern Davidson and Evelyn Dodd. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kendrick, Lloyd and Horace; and a sister, Gertrude Wilk. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment followed in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City.
