Description	:	MARVIN LOUIS STEVENS TEMPLETON — Mass of Christian burial for Marvin Louis Stevens of Tcmplelon will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Templcton. Mr. Stevens, 68, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 31, 2001, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. The Rev. Dale Reiff will preside at the Mass. Lector will be Judy Ziegmann. Gift bearers will be Kelly Riesselman and Kyle Stevens. Casket bearers will be Scott Stevens, Will Stevens, Kyle Stevens, Terry McCarthy, Jill McCarthy and Dave Masching. Mr. Stevens, 68, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 31, 2001, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. The Rev. Dale Reiff will preside at the Mass. Lector will be Judy Ziegmann. Born March 2, 1932, north of Templeton, he was a son of Frank J. and Louise (Krocgcr) Stevens. He was baptized March 4, 1932, at Sacred Heart Church in Templcton on by Father F.H. Huesmann. He attended Sacred Heart School. He and Helen E. Masching were married June 16, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Templcton. Mr. Stevens was a longtime farmer. After his retirement in 1994, he worked part-time at West Central Cooperative in Templcton. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Parish in Templeton and a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Templeton; eight children and their spouses: Kathleen and Arnold Hayncs of Council Bluffs, Robert and Darlcne Stevens of Yuma, Ariz., James and Kay Stevens of Carroll, Connie and Mike Riesselman of Willey, JoAnn and Mike Klockc, of Coon Rapids, John Stevens and Mary Lou Alt of Templeton, Sharon and Jim Zaruba of Waukce and Susan and Steven Frank of Carroll; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a twin brother, Melvin Stevens, of Denison; two sisters: Dolores Vonnahmc of Mount Carmcl and Gladys Stevens of Templeton; and a sister-inlaw, Alice Stevens, of Manning. Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Donald Stevens and his wife, Dorothy, and Joe Stevens; a sister-inlaw, Alberta Stevens; and a brotherin- law, Raymond Von-nahmc.
