Description	:	Marvin T. Griffin, age 89, passed away in his home on December 5, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1932 in rural Ellendale, North Dakota to Lillian and Ted Griffin. After graduating from Ellendale High School in 1950, Marv served in the Navy for 4 years, traveling to many different countries. Upon returning home, he attended North Dakota State School of Science and graduated with an Associate's degree in Electronics. Griffin, age 89, passed away in his home on December 5, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1932 in rural Ellendale, North Dakota to Lillian and Ted Griffin. After graduating from Ellendale High School in 1950, Marv served in the Navy for 4 years, traveling to many different countries. Upon returning home, he attended North Dakota State School of Science and graduated with an Associate's degree in Electronics. He worked in the computer field in the Milwaukee metropolitan area for over 30 years. Marv married his high school sweetheart, Esther (Schaller) Griffin on September 12, 1952 and shared 69 years together. The two enjoyed traveling to nearly every state in the US, visiting all State Parks in the process. Marv and Esther retired in Hixton, WI and were active members of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He was well-known in the small community as the handy-man, always helping those in need. Marv loved to banter with friends and always was quick with a laugh. He enjoyed woodworking, bird watching, golfing, pheasant and deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Marv is survived by wife, Esther, and three grandchildren: Michael (Danielle) Griffin of Brookfield, WI; Jamie Griffin of Madison, WI; and Megan Griffin of Mason, OH, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Griffin, Sr.; brother Orrin, and sisters Lois and Shirley.
