He was a son of the late Duke Wall and Mamie Compton Wall. He graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College and Clemson University. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Wall was a real estate appraiser. He worked with Federal Land Bank, Farm Credit, SCN, Wachovia (VP of Real Estate). He was a Charter Member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Florence, SC, Riverland Hills Baptist Church, Columbia, SC and First Baptist Church of Irmo. Mr. Wall served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at all the churches. He enjoyed working with children and helping in Vacation Bible School and RA Camp McCall. Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marjorie "Mickey" Johnson Wall; daughters, Cathy (Earl) Monts, Susan Craft and Nancy Hoover; grandchildren, Jamie Monts, Joey Monts, Christy (Daryl) Hooker, Jason Craft, Emily Craft, Kimberly Craft, Melissa Craft and Lindsay Hoover and his faithful companion, Troubles. He is also survived by his brothers, Lee (Polly) Wall of Chesnee, SC, Billy Wall of Chesnee, SC, John (Roberta) Wall of Lancaster, SC, his sister-in-law, Mary Wall, of Chesnee, SC; his favorite 92-year-old Aunt Eunice Wall of Chesnee, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Dennis Wall. A special thanks to the staff at Lexington Medical Extended Care (Rehab) and Lexington Medical (Hospital) Center.
