He was vice-president of the Pekin Saddle Club, a member of the Farm Bureau and the Triple J. Corn Dealer's Association. He was born on Sep. 28, 1936 to Omer and Viola Faye (Buchanan) Bell and in November of 1955, he married the former Mary Louise Walker, who survives.
