Description	:	Marvin Anthony Weinmann, celebrated his 90th birthday in April at Bethany on 42nd, his residence for the last five years. He thoroughly enjoyed the party and the time conversing with friends and relatives from near and far. He died peacefully, Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, at Bethany, with loving family at his side. He thoroughly enjoyed the party and the time conversing with friends and relatives from near and far. He died peacefully, Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, at Bethany, with loving family at his side. Marvin was born April 11th, 1925 in Harvey, ND, the third youngest of 10 children born to Herman and Lucy (Prom) Weinmann. He grew up on a farm outside of town and loved working with the farm animals and tending the crops. During the war, Marvin worked on the farm and was proud of his contributions to the war effort. He married Leona Selzler in 1945, and he and Leona moved to Fargo in 1953 when he started his job as equipment operator for the City of Fargo. In 1978, the Fargo Forum did a feature article entitled “Fargo Sleeps; Marvin Sweeps.” He retired from the Fargo Street Department in 1989 after 33 years of service. During their 67 years of marriage, they raised 6 children and were very proud of their 12 grand children and 10 great grand children. Marvin and Leona were long time members of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo until they moved to West Fargo and became members of Blessed Sacrament Church. He is survived by his six children Nancy Vander Werff, Bradenton, FL; RaNae Langness (Jay), Apollo Beach, FL; Faye Schwartzenberger, Bradenton, FL; Michelle Moreno, Duluth, GA; Mark Weinmann (Julie), Canton, SD; and Kevin Weinmann, San Mateo, CA. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Leona in 2012, his parents, daughter Marlys, and nine brothers and sisters. Marvin participated in many activities at Bethany especially card playing and was known for his quick smile and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. Boulger Funeral Home
