Description	:	Marvin William Cast, third son of Henry and Louisa Cast, was born on a farm near Beaver Crossing, July 30, 1907 and died at the Warren Memorial Hospital, Friend, Sunday, August 23. He has lived in the community all of his life with the exception of the years between 1912 and 1916, when he and his family resided in Florida and a four year period following 1944, when he and his family lived in Plymouth County, Iowa. Read More	Marvin William Cast, third son of Henry and Louisa Cast, was born on a farm near Beaver Crossing, July 30, 1907 and died at the Warren Memorial Hospital, Friend, Sunday, August 23. He has lived in the community all of his life with the exception of the years between 1912 and 1916, when he and his family resided in Florida and a four year period following 1944, when he and his family lived in Plymouth County, Iowa. He was married May 17, 1933 to Lois Biltoft. He was a member of the Beaver Crossing Methodist Church, Prudence Lodge 179, AF & AM and served on the Beaver Crossing Board of Education for many years. Survivors include his wife, Lois, three sons, Roy, Beaver Crossing, Larry, McCook, and Wayne at home; four daughters, Mrs. William (Jean) Kunert, Omaha, Marian, Diane and Elaine all at home, three brothers, Herbert and Robert, Beaver Crossing, and Walter, Denver; one sister, Mrs. Bernie (Vera) Reins, Torrance, Calif., and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26, at 2 p.m. at the Beaver Crossing Methodist Church, Rev. Harold J. Coates officiating. Masonic rites were held at the cemetery.
