ROBBINS on Aug. 17, 1856 in Jackson County, IA. After the death of David R. ROBBINS in Sep. 1865, Mary married David SPRINGER on Jul. 28, 1867 in David's house in Jackson County, IA. He was born in Nov. 1799 in Canada. He was forty years her senior and had two children still at home and she had three young ones when they married. David SPRINGER died... Apparently soon after the death of her second husband, David SPRINGER, Mary married George F. SIMPSON. He only lived a couple years and then Mary married Jared PRINDLE. The Maquoketa Excelsior, Maquoketa, Jackson, IA May 2, 1913 "Died. PRINDLE--Mary Wilcox Prindle was born in Michigan in 1840, and died at Maquoketa, Iowa, April 26, 1913. About 1860 she moved to Iowa where she has since resided with the exception of five years spent in Illinois. She was the mother of thirteen children, five of whom survive. She united with the church at the age of fifteen, being a member of the Methodist church at Maquoketa at the time of her death. The middle of last October she went to live at the Old Soldiers Home at Marshalltown, returning from there about two weeks ago. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons--Daniel and Charles Robbins of Minot, N.D., and three daughters, Clara Schaeffer of Perry, Iowa; Mrs. Georgia Chase of this city; besides three brothers, Peter Wilcox of Lake City, Iowa, Thomas Wilcox of Bedford, Iowa, and Marvin Wilcox of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Van Emburgh, also of this city. Mother dear has gone forever, From this world to brighter shore; Hoping she will dwell with Jesus, Till we meet to part no more."
