Description	:	Mrs. John H. Klohs, 66, Route 1, Maurice, died Wednesday [December 29, 1971] at her rural Maurice home after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be Saturday Jan. 1, 1972, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist church in LeMars with Rev. Robert Hanthorn officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Her marriage to Mr. Klohs took place June 12, 1924, at Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Klohs, a homemaker, came to LeMars in 1928 and moved to a farm near Maurice in 1941 where she has resided the last 30 years. Mrs. Klohs was very active in church work and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband, John, of rural Maurice; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Harriet) Goslin of Ames and Johnnie L. Ball of Ankeny; two brothers, Howard Hamilton of Florence, Ariz., and Robert Hamilton of LaFayette, Calif.; her step-mother, Mrs. N.A.
