Description	:	Mary Alice Johnston, 68, of Oelwein, died Friday, Feb. 27, at home of cancer. She was born May 16, 1940, in Dundee, daughter of Irwin and Della Helms Kash. She married Richard Trimble on Nov. 25, 1961, in Lamont. She later married Roy Johnston on July 18, 1998, in Oelwein. She graduated from Lamont High School in 1957 and later from Pitze's Beauty School, Waterloo, in 1958. She was a cosmetoligist for 44 years, working at the Fashionaire, Elite Beauty Shop, Connie's Beauty Shop, Hairstyles by Deloris, Roger's Studio of Hair Design, Designer's Touch, Styles Plus and Kokomo, retiring July... She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein, and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court St. Rita # 321 and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survived by: her husband; two sons, Roland (Jessica) Trimble and Rodney Trimble, both of Oelwein; two daughters, Shae (Jere) Kerns of Oelwein and Regina (Kevin) Miles of Greeley, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Ryan Kerns of Forest City, Eric Kerns, Tyler Trimble, Tessa Trimble and Joshua Trimble, all of Oelwein, and Jacob and Zachary Miles, both of Greeley; a sister, Carolyn Bergfeld of Lamont; a brother, John (Carol) Kash of Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: her parents; her stepfather, LeRoy Rule; an infant sister, Deloras Kash; and a brother-in-law, Edward Bergfeld. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, both in Oelwein. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, where there will be a 4 p.m. CDA rosary and a 7 p.m. parish Scripture service.
