Description	:	OBITUARY Mrs. Mary A. Linson died at her home three miles south of Hartwell May 9, 1898. Mary Amelia Scott was born in Bethel, Sullivan county, N.Y., March 23, 1850. In 1869 she united with the Presbyterian church at Bethel. She was married to Henry L. Linson of White Lake, N.Y. in 1870. In January 1877, they removed to Syracuse, Neb., where they lived ten years. There being no Presbyterian church at that place she united with the congregational church where she was an active member until her removal with her family to Kearney county in 1887. ... Read More	OBITUARY Mrs. Mary A. Linson died at her home three miles south of Hartwell May 9, 1898. Mary Amelia Scott was born in Bethel, Sullivan county, N.Y., March 23, 1850. In 1869 she united with the Presbyterian church at Bethel. She was married to Henry L. Linson of White Lake, N.Y. in 1870. In January 1877, they removed to Syracuse, Neb., where they lived ten years. There being no Presbyterian church at that place she united with the congregational church where she was an active member until her removal with her family to Kearney county in 1887. At the time of her death she was a member of the Bethel Prebyterian church near Hartwell. Her husband and entire family of three sons and four daughters, parents, five brothers and one sister survive her. Mrs. Linson was held in universal esteem by her friends and neighbors. The funeral was very largely attended and the text for the occasion was taken from II Cor. 5:1.
