Her marriage was to Kenneth H. Connell on July 21, 1942 in Monon, IN, and he preceded her in death May 27, 1994. Mary is also preceded in death by her siblings: Kenneth Pearson, Cecil Pearson, Dorothy Doyle, Joseph Pearson, Frances Beasey, Robert Allen, Clarence Allen, George Allen, and Delos Allen, as well as her grandson, Kenneth Ray Connell. She is survived by her five sons: Larry (Bonnie) Connell and Ricky (Marsha) Connell of Monticello; Steven K. (Fiancée Donna Bufkin) Connell of Reynolds, Brett (Vicky) Connell of Monon, and Michael (Heather) Connell of West Lafayette. She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to being a full-time mother, homemaker, and assisting in the family farm, she was also employed by Per Pak and A.O. Smith where she retired at the age of 79.
