Description	:	She is dau of William Anderson and was widow of John Tompkins Jr. before her marriage to Abraham Almony in 1836. He was named in the 1856 pension file of his brother in law Thomas Ayres as Abraham Almony age 70. Not enough is known about Abraham and his wives and children. More needs to be researched. I can't prove Susan, Abraham Jr, and Catherine G are his children but assume they are his. I also believe Sarah Almony is also his family member but due to her age there must be another wife. OBIT: Abraham Almony died and was removed from the voter registration list in the 4th district in 1870 per Havre de Grace Republican Nov 1 1870. (Should be 1871?) WILL: none found. TOMBSTONE: Abraham Almoney died May 29, 1871 aged 87y 10m. Mary Ann Anderson had 6 children - Tacy and William by 1st husband John Tompkins Jr. then she had 2 children during her widowhood by unknown man/men - Angeline and John Tompkins (later named Fitzpatrick). She then married Abraham Almony and had 2 children Anderson and Otho S. COURT: The Petition of Joseph Strawbridge, administrator of John Tomkins deceased was read to court the he had ascertained that the personal estate of the deceased will be insufficient by about $280 and that he died seized of a tract of unpatented land containing 75 acres therefore he prays that the court authorizes the sale. And the said John Tomkins died intestate and left a widow and two children minors lawful issue.
