Description	:	“Mrs. Mary Ann Pace died June 9th, 1915 at Woodbine, Iowa. Mary Ann Ballinger was borned Nov. 7, 1844 Marion Co., Missouri. Moved to Decatur Co., Iowa in her infancy. There she grew to womanhood. She was married to James D. Pace, who survives her. Too this union was borned 7 children, of which there are 6 still living: Elisha A. of Council Bluffs, Iowa; James W. of Chadron, Neb.; Joel E. of Woodbine, Iowa; Mrs. Sarah E. Bolter, Mrs. Mary E. Original copy, which was probably written by Minerva Moorhead. The handwritten remembrance was saved in the family Bible. To date, a printed newspaper version has not been found. NOTE: Daughter Mable’s headstone indicates that she was just under the age of 10 when she died. Minerva, the probable author of this obit, was just two years of age when Mabel died.
