Mary Ann Bart was born September 7, 1927 at Oelrichs, South Dakota to Joseph M. and Theresa (Dirkschneider) Bart. She was baptized in Oelrichs, SD and later confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Olean, NE. Mary Ann attended Sacred Heart School at Olean, NE. She worked for Schulte's Café in Dodge, NE. On October 3, 1950, she was united in marriage to William McGuire at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Olean, NE. The couple lived and raised their family on a farm near Wisner, NE. Mary Ann was a homemaker and later in life worked part-time for The Flower Shoppe in Wisner, NE. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, its Ladies Guild, taught CCD for several years, and was a member of the PC Project Club. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening and also did a lot of seamstress work. Survivors include- Children and their families- Marilyn McGuire of Avon, CO Timothy McGuire of Wisner, NE Stephen and Kathrina McGuire of Wisner, NE and son Matthew David and Capri McGuire of Wisner, NE and children Grant and Erin Joan and Bill Mahoney of Papillion, NE and children Colleen and Patrick Terry and Julie McGuire of Lake Havasu City, AZ and children Haley and Megan Kathy and Brian Phares of North Platte, NE and children Andrew and Sarah Brothers- Dean and Phyllis Bart of Arlington, NE Jim and Linda Bart of Dodge, NE Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband-William on June 24, 2006, five brothers-Donald, Harlan, Harold, Maynard and Duane Bart, and three sisters-Emogene Burbach, Grace Mayfield, and Roma Kampschneider.
