Description	:	Mrs. Mary Ann Bennett Floyd was born near Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tenn., October 12th, 1837. Professed religion early in life and joined the Baptist Church. Was married to Joseph Milton Floyd October 26, 1858. Soon afterwards she and her husband came to Franklin County, Ark., near Ozark, where I remember her among the first women I ever saw. There she joined the M. E. Church, South, with her husband. Of which church she remained a faithful member until her death. She was mother of seven children. Two died in infancy. Rev J. C. She was sick for some time and died April 19, 1907. Was buried at Danville, Ark., on the 20th by the side of her husband who had passed on some years before her. A good woman gone from her community.
