Description	:	She was the daughter of Samuel and Rebecca (Kilgore) Houlton. She was bornon May 4, 1811 in Ohio. Mary Ann had Black added to her name to honor an older sister who died of the same name. She was the first white woman to settle in Ostego Twp., Steuben Co., IN. She dealt with Indians on the homestead. She married John Fee on 9 Apr 1833. They had 10 children: John, Calvin, Clarinda, Margaret, Mary Ann, William Parks, and Frank.
