Douglas Barrows officiating at the rites. Pallbearers were Clifford rush, Harry Lausen, Robert Grey, William Heinzerling, Victor Story and Neal Creager. Mrs. Dynes died in Huron February 8. Born Mary Ann Clappison, in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Clappison, she came to this country with her parents at the age of 12. They settled at Sterling, Iowa, where on September 25, 1890, she was married to Frank Dynes. In 1908 they moved to Hand County and settled on a farm in Holden township. Mr. Dynes died in 1932, and after her husband's death she made her home with her son, Jim, until her retired from farming in 1954. Since that time she has lived with her son, Leslie, in Huron, and for a time in a rest home in Brookings. Mrs. Dynes was a member of the Sunbeam Congregational Church, and for many years taught in the Sunday school. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Logan Barclay, Decorah, Iowa, and two sons, Jams, St. Lawrence and Leslie, Huron.
