She was married to Neal McDonnell, who preceded her in death on August 24, 1945 and was a member of the parish altar and rosary society. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Payne, Mrs. Clarence (Anita) Wolbers, Mrs. Ed (Theresa) Melloy, Dubuque, Mrs. Joe (Estella) Cox, Maquoketa, Mrs. Clarence (Mary Clara) Driscoll and Mrs. Loras (Margaret) Ryan, Bernard, five sons, Ambrose, Joe, Paul, Ray and Ignatius, all of Bernard; 64 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three , sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kedley, DeWitt, Mrs. Bridget Smith, Maquoketa and Mrs. Josie Freeze, Monticello, a brother, Paul Curtis, Marshalltown, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
