Description	:	At her home, near Silver Lake, Oct. 15, 1897, Mrs. Henry E. Benfer, aged 55 years, 8 months and 5 days. Mary A. Kinzey was born in Montgomery county, Ohio, Feb. 10, 1842. At the age of three years she came with her parents to this state and located in Noble county. She was united in marriage to Oliver Gaff, Nov. 30, 1861. This union was blessed with one daughter. Read More	At her home, near Silver Lake, Oct. 15, 1897, Mrs. Henry E. Benfer, aged 55 years, 8 months and 5 days. Mary A. Kinzey was born in Montgomery county, Ohio, Feb. 10, 1842. At the age of three years she came with her parents to this state and located in Noble county. She was united in marriage to Oliver Gaff, Nov. 30, 1861. This union was blessed with one daughter. At the close of the first year of married life, her companion was called to the future world. March 14, 1867, she was married to James G. Ackerman. To them were born five children, two sons and three daughters. Brother Ackerman departed this life, Jan. 17, 1886. She was married to Henry Benfer, March 29, 1894. When but a child she embraced religion and lived a devoted christian life. She was a faithful member of the U.B. church. She leaves her companion, two sons and three daughters and and many other near relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held at Silver Lake Chapel, Oct. 17 at 8:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. A.F. McCloe.
