Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Watertown with Father John Lantsberger officiating. Marie Coon was the soloist accompanied by Donna Williams. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Watertown, SD. Visitation was held on Monday, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. at the Wight, Comes & Sogn Funeral Chapel. Read More	Mary Ann Miller, age 60, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2009 in Watertown, SD. Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Watertown with Father John Lantsberger officiating. Mary Ann's wish was that memorial contributions be sent to the family, which will then be presented to the Caring Bridge and the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Research. Mary Ann Miller was born on October 12, 1949 to Peter and Laura (Arbach) Koehn in Hoven, SD. After graduation, Mary Ann went to Lake Area Technical Institute for Cosmetology in 1970. She married Al Miller on October 16, 1970 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. She worked selling Fashion 220 cosmetics while Al attended college in Sioux Falls. Mary Ann and Al moved to Watertown to pursue the business Al started, now known as Miller Tax Service. In 1983, Mary Ann became a Realtor. She received the Realtor of the Year Award as well as many other numerous awards, with the most recent award this year being the Achievement Award. Mary Ann was employed at Real Estate Professionals, Inc. in Watertown. In the early 1970's, she was active in the Jaycees and Jayceettes. In 1981, Al and Mary Ann were instrumental in establishing Residents Encounter Christ (R.E.C.) in the Sioux Falls State Penitentiary. They were coordinators for the R.E.C. Program for over 18 years, along with teaching religious education. She was active in Teens Encounter Christ (T.E.C.), Cursillo, and Church Ministries. After Al's death in 2001, Mary Ann became active in the Divorced, Widowed, and Separated Group (DWS), along with the Breast Cancer Support Group. Mary Ann cherished her time with her grandkids and was known as the "golf cart grandma". She was an avid golfer, enjoyed going to the lake cabin, playing cards, living out her Arizona dream, walking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al; five brothers, Gene, Fr. Don, Arlie, Jerry and Jim Koehn; two sisters-in-law, Jan Koehn and Karen Koehn; and her mother and father-in-law, Helen and Fred Waggener. She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Colucci of Rosemount, MN, and Tracie (Jerry) Bents of West Fargo, ND; her sister, LaRayne Koehn of Watertown; her life partner, Jim Kirkpatrick of Mesa, AZ; six sisters-in-law, Alice (Bill) Hoff and Marge (Ray) VanWell of Watertown, Linda Miller of New Mexico, Cheryl K. Miller, Rita (Roger) Allen of Watertown, and Dawn (Kyle) Hewlett of Watertown; and six grandchildren, Zac, Luke, and Andrew Colucci, and Addison, Morgan, and Reegan Bents. - Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel
