Read More	Source: The Victor Record 3/31/1966 Mary Stowell Dies Suddenly Friday, March 25 Mary Ann McKusker, daughter of Charles and Louisa Lacher McKusker, was born in Iowa County March 12, 1887 and passed away at her home in Victor suddenly Friday morning at the age of 79 years and 13 days. She was baptized and united with the German Reform church when a young girl. She was united in marriage to Charles Stowell Feb. 4, 1908. To this union three children were born. After their marriage they farmed in the vicinity of Ladora and Marengo. In 1933 they moved to Victor where she made her home since. Mrs. Stowell is survived by her three children, Mrs. Lelia Maser of Arlington, Mrs. Maxine Cronbaugh of Marengo and Milo of Victor; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one brother, John McKusker of Marengo, four sisters, Mrs. Sophia McMann of California, Mrs. Martha McGuire of Center Point, Mrs. Emma Fiester and Mrs. Nellie Sherlock both of Marengo, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Arthur and Ben McKusker. Mr. Stowell died June 8, 1960. Funeral services were held from the McAninch Chapel Monday, March 28 at 2 o'clock with Rev. H. B. officiating. Two organ solos, "Face to Face" and "The Old Rugged Cross" were played by Mrs. Ireta Daniels. Casket bearers were grandsons: Celaine Cronbaugh, Charles Cronbaugh, Roger Stowell, Harold Maser, Dick Rhinehart and ronnie Maser. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Victor.
