Description	:	Eldest daughter of Jacob Marinus and Mary Elizabeth LaFoy (Kirkpatrick). Her parents had 10 kids however only 8 made it to adulthood. Minnie as she was called married Platoff G. Harris in Iowa and they worked a farm. They had one son, Harold Morrow Harris (adopted maybe). 5 of her brothers left Iowa with their families in 1904 and settled in Saskatchewan to begin a new life as Pioneers. 2 brothers remained in Iowa on their farms near Minnie.
