She had been in failing health for about six months. She was born in Adams County, Indiana, to Harold D. and Erma B. GAGE OWENS. On July 3, 1954, in Decatur, she married G. Jack LYBARGER, who survives. She moved to Rochester in 1966 from Cheyenne, Wyo. Jack LYBARGER, who survives. She moved to Rochester in 1966 from Cheyenne, Wyo. An artist, craftsman, school teacher and homemaker, she was well-known in the area for her handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and its Blue Apple womens group, Tri Kappa, the Fulton County Historical Society, a founding member of the Fulton County Round Barn Festival, Friends of the Fulton County Public Library and Fulton County Humane Society. She was a member of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She was a graduate of Decatur High School and attended St. Francis College, Fort Wayne. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Lori LYBARGER and Shaunn LYBARGER, both at home; three sisters, Carolyn BAUMGARTNER, Donna OWENS and Mrs. Michael (Linda) DRAKE, all of Monmouth. Her parents preceded in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff TAYLOR officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral home, Rochester and at the church one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
