Description	:	Mary Ann Shaff was born in the Provence of Canada Nov. 22, 1828 and died at her home west of Sigourney the last of last week at the age of 79 years 2 months and 14 days. She was the daughter of James and Elisa Shaff; she came with her parents in 1840 to this country and settled in Keokuk County Iowa where she has since lived near Sigourney. Read More	Mary Ann Shaff was born in the Provence of Canada Nov. 22, 1828 and died at her home west of Sigourney the last of last week at the age of 79 years 2 months and 14 days. She was the daughter of James and Elisa Shaff; she came with her parents in 1840 to this country and settled in Keokuk County Iowa where she has since lived near Sigourney. She was married to William Shaver in 1851. To this union were born seven children, three boys and four girls; three survive her, one son and two daughters: William Shaver, Ms. Hattie Shaver and Mrs. Laura Jackson. Mr. Shaver preceded her to the peaceful home in 1866. She remained a widow 3 years and was then married to Henry Rogers. He also preceded her to the peaceful home in 1888. She leaves to mourn her loss three sisters and two brothers; Mrs. E. Wilderson of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Frances Miller, Mr. Almear Richard both of Wellman, Mrs. Marshall of Delta and Mr. James Schaff of Filey, Mo.
