Description	:	Mrs Anna Meisen Mary Anna Holzman. Was born at Mount Calvary, Wisconsin, August 23, 1874. Came to South Dakota with her parents in 1883 and settled near New Hoven. She was married to Adolph Miesen, October 11, 1892, at Hoven. To this union six children were born, five of whom are living. Edward died October 21, 1901. Mrs. Miesen died at the home of her son, Peter J. Miesen at Zell, South Dakota, February 13, 1932, after a lingering illness. The body was brought to Lebanon Tuesday, and funeral services were held in the St. Mary's Catholic Church here, at... Read More	Mrs Anna Meisen Mary Anna Holzman. The body was brought to Lebanon Tuesday, and funeral services were held in the St. Mary's Catholic Church here, at nine o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment was made in the Hoven cemetery by the side of her husband., who passed from this life October 29, 1923. Deceased leaves to mourn her departure, four sons, Arthur Miesen of Moorhead, Minn., Peter Miesen of Zell, South Dakota, Frances of Lebanon, and Adolph L. Miesen who is in the US Navy. One daughter Mrs Irene Dienslake of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Her Father, Math Holzmann of Aberdeen; five sisters, Mrs Mayme Jackson, of Springfield, South Dakota,Mrs Rose Ryan and Mrs Frances Tonner of Aberdeen; Mrs F. A. Thomsen of Lebanon, and Mrs George Record of Farmington, Minn. Two brothers, Dr. A.J. Holzmann of Santa Barbara, California, and Joseph Holzmann of Smithland, Iowa; and a host do friends Lebanon Independent Thursday March 10th 1932
