Description	:	OBIT: Death came here yesterday to Mrs. Mary Wippel, one of the Kittitas County's oldest and best-loved residents at the age of 97 years. She died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H. J. Block. Widely known throughout the Kittias Valley, Mrs. Wippel was born at New Alsace, Indiana and came to Ellensburg 39 years ago. Mrs. Wippel leaves 47 direct descendants. Read More	OBIT: Death came here yesterday to Mrs. Mary Wippel, one of the Kittitas County's oldest and best-loved residents at the age of 97 years. She died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H. J. Block. Widely known throughout the Kittias Valley, Mrs. Wippel was born at New Alsace, Indiana and came to Ellensburg 39 years ago. Mrs. Wippel leaves 47 direct descendants. They include four daughters, Mrs. Block and Mrs. J. M. Hirsch of Ellensburg, and Mrs. R. A. McClelland of Yakima who where with her at the time of her death and during her last illness and Mrs. Carrie Boley of Independence, Kas.; two sons, J. H. Wippel of Ellensburg and Joe Wippel of Sunman, Ind.; and 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving is a sister living in Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Rosary services will be held at the home of Mrs. Block at 305 D Street, Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
