Description	:	Mrs. Mary Kimball, who has been sick at the home of Mrs. Briggs for several weeks, died last Friday at a hospital in Sioux City, where she was taken, Thursday for treatment. She died a few hours after undergoing an operation for cancer of the stomach. The remains were taken to Niobrara, Sunday where funeral services were held and burial made. The deceased was an early settler in Knox county, residing northwest of Verdigre for a number of years. Of late years, she has resided in California.
