Edmunds, 62, were held at her home here Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. F.O. Winslow, pastor of the Methodist Church, in charge. Burial was in the Edgewood Cemetery. As Mary A. Seward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Seward, she was born Feb. 14, 1872, at Rock Prairie in Delaware County. Educated in the schools of the county, she was married to Wheeler C. Edmunds at Terril 40 years ago. They lived in that community for 25 years and then moved to Milford, where lived for several years. The past several years, Mrs. Edmunds made her home here with her mother whose death occurred several years ago. Last Saturday Mrs. Edmunds went to Strawberry Point on the freight and in some way became confused at the calls from those near and failed to get off the track while the engine was switching. She was frightfully injured and died shortly afterwards. Surviving is a brother, M.W. Seward, living in Alabama and his eight children. Mrs. Edmunds and her husband were charter members of the Eastern Star lodge at Milford. She was also a member of the Methodist Church.
