Description	:	Mrs. Mary B. Summers, 77, widow of Lafayette Summers, whose death occurred July 29, 1935, died at the Beechwood hospital at 10:20 Friday morning. Her death ended an illness of several months from heart and dropsical troubles. Mrs. Summers had been rapidly failing and was admitted to the hospital Thursday. Summers, 77, widow of Lafayette Summers, whose death occurred July 29, 1935, died at the Beechwood hospital at 10:20 Friday morning. Her death ended an illness of several months from heart and dropsical troubles. Mrs. Summers had been rapidly failing and was admitted to the hospital Thursday. Since the death of her husband she had been living alone in Windfall most of the time, but her relatives have been looking after her needs. Mrs. Summers, was a long time resident of the Windfall community, and a member of the Christian church of that place. For a few years she and her husband resided in Indianapolis where they operated a rooming house, but with that exception all of their married life was spent in the Windfall community. The deceased was born at Bentonville, February 13, 1860, being one of three children born to William and Lucy (Webb) Sprong, and was married to Lafayette Summers, March 25, 1883. Two sons predeceased the parents at an early age. During her long residence in Tipton county, Mrs. Summers acquired many friends who will learn with regret of her passing. The husband of Mrs. Summers was a son of Dr. J.M. Summers, pioneer physician of the Nevada community. Following the death the body was removed to the Pritchard funeral home in Windfall for preparation and will remain there until taken to the church for services. Friends are invited to call at any time. The funeral will be held at the Windfall Christian church Sunday morning at 11:00 with Rev. G. W. Winfrey, assisted by Rev. T.J. Frost officiating and burial will follow in Brookside cemetery beside the husband whose death occurred in 1935.
