Description	:	GERMANTON, NC ~ Mrs. Mary Belle Hill, 76, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1929, in Stokes County to Julius and Elsie Kiser Cook. She worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was a member of Meadows Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Hill, in 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Tanya (Rodney) Gardner; Braden, her beloved grandson, who was her faithful companion and best friend; and six sisters: Ruby Cook and Brona Chatman, all of Germanton, Nina Hill, and... Read More	GERMANTON, NC ~ Mrs. Mary Belle Hill, 76, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1929, in Stokes County to Julius and Elsie Kiser Cook. She worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was a member of Meadows Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Hill, in 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Tanya (Rodney) Gardner; Braden, her beloved grandson, who was her faithful companion and best friend; and six sisters: Ruby Cook and Brona Chatman, all of Germanton, Nina Hill, and Bertie Hill of Walnut Cove, and Vadie Cox and Emma Goins of Mayodan. The memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mervin Garrison officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. She was always doing things for others, and even in death, she wanted to assist in the training of medical professionals by donating her body to the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT 59004-1001, or to Red Cloud Indian School, 100 Mission Drive, Pine Ridge, SD 57770-2100.
