Description	:	Mrs. Mary Lautenschlager, who had been ill during the past several weeks, died Monday, April 30, at her home in Palmer, at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 28 days. (Funeral details followed.) Mary Ann Busche was born in Illinois May 2, 1858, and came to Nebraska in 1864, going on a boat down the Mississippi river and crossing the Missouri on a ferry with her parents when she was six years old. Mary Ann Busche was born in Illinois May 2, 1858, and came to Nebraska in 1864, going on a boat down the Mississippi river and crossing the Missouri on a ferry with her parents when she was six years old. They lived on a homestead in Cass county, Nebraska. In 1876 she was married to John Lautenschlager, and in 1894 she and her family moved to a farm in Gage Valley, Howard County. Three daughters and five sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lautenschlager, three of which preceded her in death. Frank died in 1905 at 16 years of age; Minnie passed away in 1922 at 17 years of age; and Louie died in 1937 at 47 years of age. Her husband passed away in 1915. Remaining children are Mrs. John Bader of Palmer, Henry of Gage Valley, Mrs. John Wichman, Grand Island, John of Doniphan, and William of Palmer; also 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, one brother, Frank Busche of Utah, and five sisters: Mrs. Emma McMochen, Wymore, Nebr.; Mrs. Tillie Jurdine, Lincoln; Mrs. Lillie [blank], Iowa; Mrs. Ida Vail and Mrs. Katie Vail of Los Angeles.
