She married Paul J. Connolly on Nov. 20, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fillmore; he died April 27, 1968. She received her education in the Fillmore area schools. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas of Farley and a former Girl Scout leader for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph's parish, Farley. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are three daughters, Janann (Gerald) Weber, of Dyersville, Diann (Rodney) Mozena, of Dubuque, and Mary Eileen (and Mark Smith), of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Lyle (Bonnie) Connolly, of Davenport, Steve (Vicki) Connolly, of Dubuque, Gerard (Judy) Connolly, of Farley, and Keith Connolly (and friend Kris), of Aurora, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marian Wallace, of Bankston. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Connolly, on June 12, 1996; and two sisters and two brothers.
