Born May 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bailey and Lela Mae (Dean) Neel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Gordon; a son, Larry W. Gordon; her daughter, Dianna C. Bittinger; two brothers, Marshall Blair Neel and Bill Neel. Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren. Born May 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bailey and Lela Mae (Dean) Neel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Gordon; a son, Larry W. Gordon; her daughter, Dianna C. Bittinger; two brothers, Marshall Blair Neel and Bill Neel. Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her two sons, Charles W. Gordon and wife, Louise, Eglon, WV; James A. Gordon and wife, Tammy, Oakland; one sister, Jane L. Lee, West Middlesex, PA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD, 21550, on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1101 Fairview Church Rd., Oakland, MD, 21550, on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Samuel Moon officiating.
