Born in Columbia, SC on October 12, 1958, Mrs. Creson was the daughter of the late Jack Horace Smith and the late Geneva Camlin Smith Clapp. Mrs. Creson was a devoted member of Lakewood Baptist Church and a youth Sunday School teacher. She was a Winyah High School and Mars Hills University graduate. Mrs. Creson taught elementary school for 38 years at McDonald Elementary and she loved spending time with friends and family. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 40 years, is one daughter, Ashley Creson (Burns Windley) of Lexington, SC; a son, Jason Creson (Carly) of Andrews, SC; four grandchildren, Rhyley, Will, Rhaegan, and Carson; and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Smith.
