Read More	Published in the Rochester(IN) Sentinel, Friday, September 11, 1959 Mrs. Mary Celia SHELTON, 67, 301 Main street, died suddenly at 2:45 a.m. today in her home of a heart attack. She had suffered from a heart ailment the past 20 years. Born May 16, 1892, at Pontiac, Ill., she was the daughter of Michael and Charlotte MURPHY FOX. Her parents died when she was six years of age and she was raised by foster parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. David SMITH, who lived east of Rochester. She came to Rochester 55 years ago from Paxton, Ill. Her marriage was on Aug. 14, 1919, in Rochester, to Ray SHELTON, who survives. Mrs. Shelton was a member of the St. Joseph church, the Rosary and Altar Society, NCCW of the Catholic church, was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, a charter member of the Onawa club and belonged to the Radio club. Surviving, besides the husband, are one son, James [SHELTON], San Jose, Cal.; three grandchildren; several nieces, including Mrs. Albertus Van DIEN and Mrs. Donald POLK, both of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Otto POLLISCHECK, Muskatine, Ia., and Mrs. Harry SHEKEY, Kankakee, Ill.; and one brother, Hugh FOX, Rockford, Ill. One son, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph church here with Msgr. J. SHALL of St. Vincent's church in Logansport officiating, assisted by Father George LANNING of the St. Joseph church.
