Levi, a preacher and Justice of the Peace, was a widower with three or four children. He would later serve in the Revolutionary War. Mary's stepson, Levi, and two of her own sons, John and Absolum, married Chenoweth daughters of Mary's brother, John Chenoweth and probably his second wife Eleanor Parke. These latter two of were first cousin marriages. Another four Ashbrook children would marry into the Peters family. The Ashbrook lines would spread to Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
