She came with her parents to Indiana in 1834. She was married to Adam Dingman, Jan. 21, 1840, who came to Allen County in 1832 and to Noble County in 1835, and from her marriage until her death she resided in this county. She was married to Adam Dingman, Jan. 21, 1840, who came to Allen County in 1832 and to Noble County in 1835, and from her marriage until her death she resided in this county. She died on the 26th day of March (appears it should have read February), 1880, aged 57 years. She was the mother of 8 children, all but one of whom are living. Her husband died over two years before in 1876 and from the time of his death she lived on the homestead at Port Mitchell. Mart Dingman was allowed to be with her during her illness and until after the burial, then he was taken back to jail and will remain there until the expiration of his sentence, which will be about the first of April. Burial, Albion Cemetery. ________________
