I appoint my Son Daniel Headlee of Seeley Township, Guthrie County and State of Iowa by occupation a farmer executor of this my will. In witness whereof I have signed and published and declared this instrument as my will at Seeley Township, Guthrie County and State of Iowa on this the ____ day of 1879 AD. The said Mary Headlee of Seeley Township, Guthrie County and State of Iowa on the 14th day of April 1879 AD signed this instrument and published and declare the same as and for her last will and we at her request and in her presenc and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as subscribing witnesses. Jones John Parker Certificate of Proof of Will I, FM Hopkins, Clerk of the Circuit Court hereby certify that an instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of Mary Headlee of Guthrie County, Iowa, was presented, read and filed on the 35th day of April 1881 that a notice was published for its probate in the Guthrie County Journal on the 28th of April 1881, a weekly newspaper in Guthrie Center, Guthrie County, Iowa three consecutive weeks. The last publication being ten days before the time appointed for its probate. That on the 8th day of December 1882 the executor of said will was duly proved by the subscribing witnesses and also that the said testator at the time of its execution was of full age and free to act. It was then and there adjudged and or decreed by the Count that she aforesaid instrument was duly executed and probated as the last will and testament of Mary Headlee. In witness whereof I have attached the seal of this Court and subscribed my name this Eight day of December 1880. F.M.
